Performance chips are designed to improve horsepower and torque and allow you to monitor different engine parameters and gain the maximum engine efficiency. They were not designed to specifically improve fuel economy, but improved engine performance can result in improved fuel economy as long as you keep an eye on aggressive driving habits.
