Hitch and Wiring Harness Availability for 2013 Volkswagen Passat

I have a 2013 VW Passat and am considering installing a hitch, but you dont list any wiring harness for the vehicle. Is one available for my car?

All hitches offered for the 2013 Volkswagen Passat are light-duty Class I types with a 1-1/4-inch receiver opening. A Class I hitch can be used with a 2-bike carrier or for light towing provided that your particular Passat is rated by the manufacturer for towing a trailer. I was not able to verify a tow rating for the 2013 Passat Sedan so I suggest you refer to your owner's manual or your local dealership to confirm the vehicle's capabilities before attempting to tow.
