Question:

my trailer is 9 to 10 inches taller then the ball on my truck. the trailer springs are on top of the axle which makes it taller. I want to get a set up to pull my camper at the hight it is for clearance. If possible could you send me information starting from truck reciever to trailer hitch including stabilizer with trunion bars. any help would be awesome. Thank you.

First, you'll want to identify exactly how much of a rise you'll need for the trailer to be towed level. I've linked you to a help article showing how to measure to determine that. Since the trailer coupler is taller than the receiver on your truck, you'll need a weight distribution shank with a rise. To allow for squat, you'll need a shank whose rise will place the trailer ball about 1-1/2 to 2 inches higher than the coupler height.

Once you determine the correct shank height, you'll choose a weight distribution system. To do this, you'll need to find the fully loaded and ready to tow tongue weight of your camper. To this amount, add the weight of any gear you carry behind the rear axle of the tow vehicle. This combined weight of the gear behind the axle and the fully loaded trailer tongue weight will represent your total tongue weight, or TTW. You would then choose a system whose effective range encompasses your TTW.

For instance, if your TTW was 400 lbs, a system like the # RP66558 Reese Steadi-Flex weight distribution system would be ideal. The system combines proven sway control with weight distribution that's effective on trailers with TTW's ranging from 400-600 lbs.

To find the proper system for your needs, use the provided link to the weight distribution product page. On the left side of the page, click the filter that comes closest to your trailer TTW, and you'll be shown the alternatives that are compatible with a trailer that has your TTW.

If you'd care to reply with the rise of shank you need and your trailer TTW, I'd be happy to make some suggestions for you.
