Is a Replacement Screw Available for a Magnum Series Swivel Jack
Question:
I have the magnum series bolt on with swivel trailer jack. I just completed a rebuild of the internal gears and the jack will no fully extend. Is the center threaded rod available as a replacement part.

The center threaded rod is actually called the screw. Jacks like yours, and most jacks, use the ACME screw design which consists of a fixed nut and a screw that travels up and down depending on which way the handle is turned.
These can get damage if the jack is over-extended. It will damage the threads in the nut, screw, or both. In order to determine if the screw and/or nut is available, I would need to know a little more about the jack. I need to know its capacity, its approximate age, and if it is a side or top winding jack. For nearly all jacks though the screw and nut are not available as replacement parts. But I would be happy to look.
