Brake Controller Installation on 2008 Ford F150 w/ OEM 4-Pole Trailer Connector

I have a 2008 F150 XL and it only has a 4 pin flat connector in the rear, Can you advise me on what I need to install brake controller

If you were interested in the # HM47294 Hopkins Agility brake controller you were looking at, you'd need the # HM47715 wiring adapter and the # 37185 4-pole to 7-way adapter.
The controller would mount to the underside of the dash in the desired location. Usually, to the right of the steering column is best, so you don't bang your knees on it as you get in and out of the truck. The factory connector is located under the dash, above and to the right of the OBD II port as shown in the photo I edited for you.
