Can the Convert-A-Ball be used with the 5th Airborne Premium Fifth Wheel Air-Ride Coupler - Extended Pin Box - for Leland 7920 Trailer Frames? 5AB-E7920

According to Convert-A-Ball, their # CAB-C5G adapter should NOT be used with an air ride pin box like the Fifth Airborne Air Ride Coupler.

The best practice would be to use a fifth wheel hitch. If the gooseneck hitch is a B&W model, you could use the Companion, part # BWRVK3500. Draw-Tite offers the Hi-Rise, part # 9480 that is compatible with the B&W turnover ball and the Hide-A-Goose by Draw-Tite or Reese and the Under-Bed by Bulldog which will also work with the air ride pin box.

There are also some fifth wheel rails that will insert into a gooseneck hitch, like the Curt X5, part # 16310 that would drop into a B&W Turnover Ball Gooseneck, and would provide industry standard fifth wheel rails like those manufactured by Curt, Reese, Draw-Tite, Valley and Husky. We've found this adapter doesn't work well with spray-in bed liners.

So, although the adapter you asked about wasn't compatible, there are other options. I've linked you to some product demonstration videos you might find helpful.
