Could you tell me what the button on the top right of the controller is for?

The button you are referring to is the boost button. When you push that, it will put you into a boost 1, boost 2, or boost 3, and that will let you adjust the initial braking power and aggressiveness, so if youre using a heavier trailer with a heavier load, youll want to increase the boost level.
