Folding Cargo Carrier Recommendation for a 2010 Subaru Forester
Question:
A 2010 Subaru Forster with Curt 2inch Hitch from Etrailer. I had Carrier CR-114N from Etrailer got damage on last camping trip. I am looing at Carrier C18100. I want to check with the expert to make sure it is ok when fold up. I measure from the center of the Hitch pin hole to the very end of the bumper and it is 4 1/2 . Thanks

It would be a close fit, but the Curt Folding Cargo Carrier part # C18100 that you referenced should have enough clearance to be folded up as it has a distance of 5 inches from the center of the hitch pin to the nearest portion of the carrier when folded.
For a carrier with more clearance I would recommend the Curt Cargo Carrier part # C18151. This carrier has a distance of 9 inches from the pin hole to the nearest portion of the carrier when folded.
