Landing Gear Set Recommendation for a 2006 Mountaineer 5th wheel by Montana
Question:
Need to replace the landing legs which do you recommend. Looking to replace with your item BD500162 will they work? I see the Stromberg is 21 inch rise and these are 18 is that a problem.

In order to pick out a direct replacement for the landing gear on your 2006 Mountaineer we would need to know the distance between the mounting brackets. Otherwise you could just have the brackets removed from your trailer by a qualified welder and then install the brackets that come with the Bulldog Tandem Landing Gear Set # BD500162. Either way this landing gear set would work well for you, you just might have to have the brackets of your trailer removed and then install the brackets of the # BD500162.
