Availability of a 10 Inch Rise Weight Distribution Shank for a Ford F-250

Question:

I have this weight distribution system and pull with a Ford F250. However the shank that came with the system does not have enough rise. I need a shank with a 9-10 rise. My trailer fully loaded weighs 9,800 lbs. What do you recommend?

Expert Reply:

You will need the Weight-Distributing Shank, 11 inches, item # RP3215, that you have referenced, to get the proper rise for your Ford F-250 pickup. The weight capacity of this shank is 14,000 pounds and the tongue weight capacity is 1,400 pounds. With your 9,800 pound gross trailer weight this shank will work great. I have included a link to a picture showing the various measurements and dimensions of this shank.
