Trunk Mounted Bike Rack Recommendation for a 2003 Mercedes ML-320 and a 2006 Sebring Convertible
Question:
Interested in purchasing the TH910XT 2-bike trunk mounted rack for our 2003 Mercedes ML-320. Upon research at various bike stores here in Tacoma, and close inspection of our hatch...we determined that the top swing point is too narrow and will not allow for the clips to work. Someone did mention that there was an adaptor to allow us to use this rack on our vehicle. If there is such an item, what is the part number and do you offer it here on this site? Also would like to know if this same 2-bike rack will also be able to be mounted on a 2006 Chrysler Sebring Convertible? Thank you for your help with this!

I have a solution for you, but the Thule Rack part # TH910XT is not listed as a fit by Thule for your vehicle so I do not recommend it for you.
For a rack that is confirmed to fit you 2003 Mercedes ML-320 and your 2006 Chrysler Sebring Convertible you would want the Hollywood Racks Over-The-Top Bike Rack part # HRF2.
If you plan on carrying any womens or alternative framed bikes without horizontal top tubes you may also be interested in purchasing a Hollywood Racks Bike Frame Adapter Bar
# HRBA-PRO to provide a horizontal top tube on your bikes to provide an attachment point. This will allow the bikes to be carried more level and will provide more ground clearance.
