Does Curt 5X Adapter work with Valley Slider Hitches

Question:

I have a 2004 F250 shortbed with a BandW turnover ball installed. Getting a 5th wheel and a used Valley Power Pull slider thrown in. Can the Curt 5X be used with a slider hitch? Seems I read that the Curt 5X is not designed to used with a slider.

Yes, I did some checking and the Curt X5 Fifth Wheel Adapter for B and W Square Shank Turnover Ball Hitches # 16310 would work in the B and W hitch you have installed in your 2004 Ford F250 and is also compatible with the Valley Power Pull Glider hitch as this hitch is designed to fit industry standard rails like what are on the # 16310. You can use a slider hitch with this adapter.
