One Wheel On Trailer Locks Up After Installing New Electric Brakes
Question:
I just installed new electric brake assemblies, and adjusted them according to your procedure. I had my wife watch the wheels while I braked using the brake controller on dirt. Only the front axle wheels locked up. The rear wheels kept turning.

You would not want the brakes to lock up the wheels on your trailer. In addition to adjusting the brakes as shown in the video, you will also need to adjust your brake controller. Also, when adjusting and setting the brakes, you will want to do so on pavement, not on dirt.
To adjust your brake controller, first unplug it for a few minutes for it to reset. Then, you will want to warm up the trailer brakes using the manual slide lever on your brake controller a few times. Using the manual slide to warm the brakes will simulate conditions when the brakes will be used when towing your trailer. Then, you will go through the setup of the brake controller as if you were setting up when you first installed it.
I have linked another video that shows how to adjust the brakes on the trailer.
