Will a Weight Distribution System Give a 2012 Jeep Wrangler More Towing Capacity

Hello, I am looking at purchasing a new or used Jeep wrangler 2 door 2012 to 2014 that has a towing capacity of 2000 lbs. I would like to tow my 2007 Fleetwood Williamsburg pop up camper with it weighing approximately 2800 lbs. Would a weight distribution system increase my towing capacity? Thanks !

There might be a chance you can tow your 2,800 lb pop up with a 2012 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, but you will need to see if there is a separate capacity listed for weight distribution. Not all vehicles, but some have two capacities. One for weight carrying (without WD) and a capacity for with weight distribution.
If you find there is a weight distribution capacity for your vehicle and it is higher than 2,800 lbs you would be fine to tow your popup with a weight distribution hitch like the Pro Series Weight Distribution System part # PS49901 that you referenced. Otherwise, I can't recommend you exceed the capacity for your vehicle.
