trunk-Mount bike Carrier For 2014 BMW 7 Series Sedan

Question:

Hi, I hope your doing fine. I have been searching the internet for a bike rack. I would like to increase my bike ridding but my neighborhood is kinda getting boring! lol!!Anyway, I have a BMW 7 series that can have a rack installed on the roof, but Im short and I cantt get to it. So I was reading on your website ALLLL the different kinds, can u give me a little insite on something suitable for me. Your customers seam very happy with your company. That is important to me. If you can help me out, would greatly appreciate it. What I think I would like is a rack the is simple and protective of my car paint and locks to prevent theft. Thanks for your time.

Since you said you would prefer a bike carrier that would not have to be mounted on the roof of your 2014 BMW 7 Series, I would suggest a trunk mounted carrier like the Thule OutWay 2 Bike Rack, part # TH45JV. This is a 2 bike carrier with anti-sway cradles that help to protect the bikes and keep them from contact with the car. This carrier has a patented FitDial system that makes it easy to attach the carrier to your BMW. Adjustments to the FitDial are made very easily with the vehicle specific numbers. This carrier comes with Thule OneKey System Lock cylinders which secure the carrier to your trunk. This bike rack weighs approximately 13 lbs and folds flat when not used for easy storage.

This dual-arm carrier reduces the need for an adapter bar when carrying bikes with alternative bike frames like kids bikes or women's bikes, but some frames may need an adapter bar like part # TH982XT. This attaches between the seat post and the handlebar stem and allows the bike to be carried more level while providing more ground clearance. I have attached a link to a product review video for the adapter bar you can check out.
