Recommended Roof Rack And Cargo Box On 2011 Chevrolet Equinox With Factory Side Rails

Hello, I have a Chevy Equinox 2011 with the factory side bars installed. I am hoping to get a set of cross bars noise is not a factor for me and the largest possible cargo box that can fit on top without interfering with my hatch door. Can someone recommend a set to me and give me costs for all parts? I was also told to look at the costs of locks and if you supply other vendors other than Thule. Thanks

For your 2011 Chevrolet Equinox with the factory side rails I recommend the Thule SquareBar Roof Rack. This roof rack has polymer-coated square crossbars which will help to prevent rust and corrosion. To order this roof rack system you want part # TH712100, and part # TH710401.

If you want a lock system to secure the roof rack to the vehicle I recommend part # TH450400.

I spoke with my contact at Thule and they told me the largest cargo box that will fit your Equinox is the Thule Pulse L Rooftop Cargo Box, part # TH615. This is a 16 cu ft cargo box that measures 76 inches long, 33 inches wide and 16-1/2 inches tall. I have attached an installation video of this cargo box on a 2011 Equinox you can check out. This comes with a lock included to help keep your cargo secure and deter theft.
