Floor Mats For 2013 Honda Fit
Question:
Im interested in these all weather floor mats for my 2013 Honda Fit but the reviews speak about how they grip the carpet .. My drivers side has no carpet underlay, just a plastic/rubber type base, so Im worried the mat wouldnt stay in place? Does it have the locking system typically found for the drivers side floor mats? If so Im interested in the purchase . Thanks.

I pulled a set of the Husky Liners Floor Mats, part # HL98491 from our warehouse and checked out the front mats for your 2013 Honda Fit. They do not have a place that tabs would hold them in place. they have nubs on the underside that are intended to grip carpet on your Fit. They are contoured to fit the opening on the floor so you may not have a problem with it shifting.
I would recommend using something like a thin rubberized mat to place on the floor of your Fit and would provide a base that the floor mats could grip. I have my toolbox lined with a similar liner and it works great for holding tools in place.
