Removing the Gear Box on Bulldog Landing Gear # BD500162
Question:
Hoe do you get the landing gear gear box off? It looks like the bolts that hold the box agents the leg are inside the gear box and welds have to be cut to get to them? I need to change those bolts. I had 1 break. Dont make sense that I would have to buy another leg and gear box over a broken bolt lol.

To get the gear box off of the Bulldog Tandem Landing Gear Set # BD500162 you would first need to disengage the connecting rod between the two jack legs. So you would be left with just the lead leg and gear box attached.
The rod that goes through the leg and gear box also has to come out. This rod is held in inside of the leg with roll pins that have to be driven out to be able to remove the rod. Use a center punch and hammer to drive out the roll pins enough to grab them with pliers to pull them out.
After that if should be easy for it to come off.
