Will Reese 5th Wheel Adapter for 2014 Ram 3500 w/Factory Prep Package Fit any Reese Hitch

Question:

We just got a 2014 3500 dodge ram and also had the factory 5th wheel package option on our truck as well we have an older Reese5th wheel does this work with all reese hitch?

The Reese adapter # RP30154 for the 2014 Rams with the factory prep package will accept most all Reese 5th wheel trailer hitches. The only exceptions are the Reese Signature and Elite series hitches and some of the older hitches with legs spaces only 10 inches apart on center.

If your hitch has legs that are spaced 20-1/2 inches or 29 inches apart on center (side to side) and 22 inches apart front to back then it will fit the adapter.
