Hooking Up Trailer to Two Vehicle Using Blue Ox Weight Distribution System

Question:

What are the steps to hook this up the the tow vehicle? And do you need to remove entire apparatuses from tow vehicle after unhooking or can I drive around with it still attached as you can with an a traditional ?

I have attached the manufacturer installation instructions for the Blue Ox weight distribution system # BLU45FR for you. You can leave in the shank and head on the tow vehicle when not using the system. The brackets will stay on the trailer. So you need only to stow the spring bars and clips that hold them.
