Will the Prodigy RF Brake Controller Work with a 2014 Mercedes M350 Bluetec
Question:
Will the Prodigy RF work on my 2014 MB 350 Bluetec? I have read that there are pairing problems with foreign made vehicles. Since I do not have an american made vehicle to use for the pairing, will this be an issue?

The Prodigy RF, # TK94FR, is not vehicle specific so you can use it with your 2014 Mercedes M350. There have been some pairing issues with German made vehicles. One solution is to have another vehicle parked next to the intended tow vehicle and pair it with that vehicle.
Since you do not have that option there are some common things that have caused people to stop the installation set up because they think there is a pairing issue. Basically one problem is that some customers do not see the display message the instructions say they should see during various steps of the pairing process. My contact at Tekonsha has said this can happen and that if you keep going through the set up then it will still pair.
Some vehicles with LED tail lights do not have the voltage needed for the Prodigy RF to work properly. If another vehicle is not available to pair with then you can use a special adapter, # 20142, which creates more load and should solve that issue.
