Will the Curt X-5 Gooseneck-to-5th-Wheel Hitch Adapter Plate Work with Any Gooseneck Hitch

Question:

Will this fit any goose neck hide away? I have a 2005 crew cab chevy 3500 daully will I need extra support under the bed or will this just sit in my truck and put my husky hitch in the fith wheel holes.

The Curt X-5 Gooseneck-to-5th-Wheel Hitch Adapter Plate, item # C16210, will only work with the Curt Double-Lock, Flip and Store gooseneck hitch. Once the adapter plate is installed, the adapter plate will accept Curt, Reese, Draw-Tite, Hidden Hitch, Valley or Husky fifth-wheel Hitches.

Curt also makes the Curt X5 Fifth Wheel Adapter, item # 16310, for B&W Square Shank Turnover Ball Hitches. This adapter only works with the B&W Square Shank Turnover Ball gooseneck hitch. No extra support is needed with these adapters.
