Weight Distribution for 2003 GMC Sierra Pulling Fabricated Trailer
Question:
Looking for best weight distributing product for my 2003 GMC Sierra z71 with factory installed hitch. My trailer is a 6.5 foot rear end of a Dodge Dakota pickup truck. The trailer will be used sparingly and has a fiberglass shell. Never experience trailer sway towing boats and commercial trailers in the past. I prefer a product that prevents sway before it starts and allows easy maneuvering, towing and in reverse.

The key to purchasing the correct weight distribution system with sway control is choosing a system compatible with the tongue weight of your trailer. You will need to know the tongue weight when fully loaded and ready to tow. With that being said, I have attached an article on determining trailer tongue weight for you to review.
