Disadvantages for Driving a Dually Truck Around Town Compared to Single Rear Wheel
Question:
Ive read many your answers and have learned quite a but you write that duals are ideal. How do duals help towing and around town, not towing, are they a rough ride?

I've driven several trucks with dual rear wheels and single rear wheels, and the biggest disadvantages to the dual rear wheel setups for every day driving is the increased width which can make drive-throughs interesting whether its a bank or a fast-food restaurant. Slightly less fuel mileage and slightly less visibility are the only other things as well.
Other than that its more tires to replace when its time for tires.
