Vehicles like your 2012 Nissan Rogue SV that have a rear spoiler can be challenging when trying to fit a trunk-mount bike carrier. The excellent Thule Gateway Pro 3 Bike Carrier # TH78VR that you referenced will not work with your vehicle due to the spoiler.

However, there are specialized racks available that are designed to be compatible with your Rogue.

Hollywood Racks offers both 2- and 3-bike versions of your Over-the-Top bike carrier, parts # HRF2 and # HRF2-3. Please refer to the linked video showing use on a 2013 Rogue. Since you will be transporting a woman's bike (thank you for the photo) you will need a bike adapter bar for it, part # HRBA-PRO.

Both of these carriers will also work on your 2008 Nissan Altima.
