Types and Installation Methods for Tonneau Covers for 2003 Ford F-150

Question:

I look at a lot of pics about these covers and was wondering do all of them roll up with the support bars . I see pics that bars still left on truck and some roll up. thanks

Your 2003 Ford F-150 is not a fit with the particular roll-up tonneau cover you referenced, part # TX298601 from TruXedo, but we do have many options for you. (This covers fits F-150s with 8-foot bed from 2009 through 2014 model years.) This cover does use rails that mount to the top surface of your truck's bed rails, as do many roll-up tonneau covers.

In order to find covers that will work with your particular truck bed length and style you can use the link provided. In the Select Vehicle Style drop-down menu at the top of the page you can choose your bed configuration to see the various types of covers that will be compatible with your truck.

For example, if you have a standard 8-foot bed you can choose from several types: roll-up, hatch-style, fold-up and retractable. You have options in both soft and hard covers and in where the cover mounts (either on top the rails or on their inside surfaces).
