Will a Diesel Truck Wear Out Pewag Tire Chains Faster
Question:
Are these chains recommended for use on a diesel? This vehicle has high torque, and I am concerned about the longevity of the chain.

Provided you are not out there spinning the tires while the chains are on you will not have a problem with the Pewag chains wearing out!
Not only are the chains corrosion-resistant nickel manganese alloy steel chains but they are also reversible. So if you do ever wear out the one side, just flip them over and its like a whole new set of chains.
The Pewag square-link chains are among the best that you can get. I haven't heard of anyone wearing them out yet. I have included a link to our help article on tire chains for you.
