Using Ultra-Fab # UF48-979006 Stabilizer Jacks to Prevent Trailer From Rocking

Question:

Our 2012 Cougar 30 ft travel trailer rocks when someone is walking through it that you feel like you are in a boat that is being hit by a wake. If we installed this type jack in front or behind the axel one on each side should it stop the rolling or do you have a better suggestion? We have tried hydraulic jacks on the springs but that didnt help. Thank you for your help.

The Ultra-Fab stabilizer jacks you referenced, part # UF48-979006 are designed specifically to prevent the rocking you mentioned. Ideally, you'd use four of them, installed near the front and rear of the TT.

You might be able to use just a pair in the front, but the trailer suspension would probably articulate a bit, so using four of them would be a better bet.

I've linked you to a product demonstration video featuring the stabilizer jacks.
