Recommended Weight Distribution System for 2013 Grand Cherokee Towing 35 Foot Wildwood Heritage

We have a jeep cherokee 2013. We purchased a wildwood heritage glen. We are after straight line weight disaburtion with dual cam sway control with a 2. 5/16 ball. 1000lb ball weight. The van is 35 feet in total.

If the 1000 lb figure you mentioned includes the fully loaded tongue weight plus the weight of any gear stowed behind the rear axle in the cargo area of the tow vehicle, I'd recommend the Reese # RP66084 which is compatible with trailers having tongue weights ranging from 600-1200 lbs. The shank is inculuded, but the 2-5/16 inch trailer ball, part # 19286 is sold separately.
If you're not including the weight of gear in the tow vehicle, going to the next capacity level, part # RP66130 would be better. This system is rated for tongue weights between 800-1500 lbs. Ideally, you want the tongue weight of the trailer to fall right in the middle of the system's effective range, so I'd be more comfortable with this choice. This system doesn't include the shank or the trailer ball. The # RP54970 shank works fine for most. You want the trailer ball to sit about 1 inch above level, so use the ballmount FAQ article I've linked to determine the rise or drop you need.
