Parts Needed to Install a Brake Controller and 7-Way in a 2012 Lincoln Navigator
Question:
I have a 2012 Navigator with a 4 plug system in the back but behind that are the braking wire and accessory leads. Im thinking along with the braking unit and harness adapter which I see you have one listed as recommended for that vehicle - I need that 7 plug unit for the back of the vehicle. I see you have a C57102 model available that converts the 4 plug to a 7 and has additional leads for the braking and accessories. Would this be recommended for my situation. Also, it doesnt look as if I have a power wire for accessories - I may need that as well. Im supplying a picture of the existing harness. Thank you, Loren

Yes, the Curt Trailer Connector Adapter # C57102 would be the correct part for you to use to convert your 4-way to a fully functional 7-way. You would just need to run the wires of the # C57102 to those leads. If there isn't a 12 volt power lead you will need to run a 10 gauge wire like part # 10-1-1 through a 40 amp circuit breaker like part # 9510.
The brake controller we recommend the most is the Prodigy P2 Brake Controller part # 90885. This is the best selling controller on the market because of how easy it is to setup and use, and how well it works. For the correct plug-in adapter you would want the part # 3035-P.
