Fitment of the Kodiak Disc Brake Kit # K2HR35DS on a Road King I Beam Aluminum Trailer
Question:
I was just reading the only review for this product as Im interested in replacing all my brake components on my tandem torsion axle trailer. its a 2004 or 2003 Roadking aluminum I beam with Tie Down disc brakes on all 4 wheels. The review stated that they would not fit due to clearance issues so now Im concerned. How can I be sure they will clear the trailer frame? I have 14inch wheels also if that matters. I can take pictures later if necessary thanks,

I spoke to my contact at Kodiak and he informed me that you would be able to fit the Kodiak Disc Brake Kit # K2HR35DS on your Roadking Aluminum I beam trailer. He said that your boat trailer has the frame extended out pretty wide and that can interfere with caliper installation, but as long as you bleed the brakes with the bleeder valve pointing up you could then install the caliper wherever needed to clear the frame, including in the 6:00 position.
