Will Carpod Trailer hitch Mount Walled Cargo Carrier Fit a 2014 Infiniti QX60

Hello, Will this product fit for an 2014 Infiniti QX60 and is there any swinging or rattle involved with the product and what is the best way to avoid them. What would be the ground clearance for this product on this model.

First, to determine if the Carpod cargo carrier, # M2205, will clear the back of your 2014 Infiniti QX60 you will need to take one important measurement. Measure from the center of the hitch pin hole straight back to the distance needed to clear the rear bumper. If that distance is less than 13 inches the carrier will clear the bumper.

With any trailer hitch mounted accessory, there is going to be the potential for movement and rattle. This is because the shank of accessories has to be slightly smaller than the receiver opening it fits into. The carrier does have a threaded hitch pin and a weld nut inside the shank so that when it is tightened down movement and rattle is limited.

If additional anti-rattle is needed you can use anti-rattle device # MPG908 which will wedge itself between the carrier shank and the inside of the receiver. I have linked a video review of this device for you.

To determine ground clearance park your QX60 on flat, level ground. Measure from the ground to the top of the receiver. Then add 5 inches. This is approximately where the bottom of the carrier will be. I have linked a video review of the carrier as well.
