Throaty Roar Exhaust for a 2006 Toyota Tundra XSP 4.7 Liter V8

Question:

I have a 2006 toyota tundra XSP. 4.7L V8 and I want dual exhaust to be installed. I want a throaty roar when I get on it, but not so loud when cruising with the wife and kids. What do you suggest?

You can't really go wrong with a MagnaFlow system for quality and sound. It does provide some Umpf, for lack of a better term, when you get on the throttle. At cruising speed it can drone a little but since you will be in a truck, the loudest parts of the exhaust will be further back than the cab and it would not be all that noticeable.

The MagnaFlow sound is a deep growl, not overly loud and crackly like glass packs. System # MF15820 fits the 2006 Toyota Tundra Access and Double Cab, short bed models. I have included a link to the installation instructions for you to view.

I prefer dual exhaust myself just because of the symmetry. It would also be sort of like stereo for exhaust as far as the sound goes. If you are interested in dual exhaust and have an Access cab, use # MF16864. A dual exhaust model is not available for the Double Cab.
