How to Wire Electric Trailer Brake Assembly

Question:

I am installing electric brake kits and cannot determine how to properly connect the wires at the backing plates. Both wires coming out of the plates are green and I dont have a schematic as to how to wire it up. Will you please explain to me the proper sequence. Thanks

Electric trailer brake assemblies have two leads that are non-polarized, so it does not matter at all which wire serves as your ground connection to the trailer frame and which receives the brake circuit signal from your brake controller. Either wiring configuration will work fine so long as you make solid and secure connections.
