Standard 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch in Reese Elite Underbed Install Kit on 2002 Chevy Silverado 2500HD

Question:

Is there an adapter that goes on the Elite Series below bed mounting system part rp30061 that will allow me to use my existing 5th wheel hitch 2002 Chevy Silverado 2500HD 6.6ft bed. The only thing shown for my vehicle is the hitch that appears to sit right on the pucks RP30144.

Yes, there is an adapter that you can use with Reese Elite series installation kit # RP30061 for your 2002 Chevy Silverado 2500HD. It is adapter # RP30156. This adapter will accept 5th wheel trailer hitches that A) fit in industry standard above the bed rails and B) have feet that are 29 or 20-1/2 inches apart on center (side to side) and 22 inches apart on center (front to back).
