We offer two different installation options for your 2003 Silverado. We offer a universal install kit, part # RP30035 or a custom vehicle specific installation kit, part # RP50064-58. These kits will work great with Reese Fifth Wheel Hitches.
Each kit would work great for your needs, but the custom kit is specifically designed for your model year, and would take up to 50 percent less time to install when compared to the universal kit.
I would recommend a fifth wheel hitch with a slider, due to the fact that you have a short bed truck. You will want to choose a hitch whose capacity exceeds the fully loaded weight of your trailer.
