I contacted the Jayco parts department to inquire about availability of a socket with a D-shaped profile that would allow you to use a cordless drill and socket extension to operate the manual landing gear on your 1994 5th wheel. Unfortunately Jayco does not offer such an item and could not offer any suggestions other than replacing your existing manual landing gear with a powered set.

The link provided will let you see all available weld-on landing gear sets, which are offered in a range of capacities and lift heights.

Your other option is to fabricate something that would allow you to connect your cordless drill to the landing gear cross shaft. For example, you might find a socket that fits completely around the D-shaped shaft and then drill through it sideways to insert a screw to secure the socket to the shaft (on the flat portion).
