Attaching Stromberg Carlson Landing Gear Set, # LG-1 To 2003 Cherokee 295L Fifth Wheel Trailer
Question:
What are the dimensions for the welded spots on this jack? I am curious if these will fit in my 2003 Cherokee 5th wheel without having to change weld spots.

Most landing gear sets like the Stromberg Carlson Electric Landing Gear Set, part # LG-1 you referenced, should fit where your old landing gear legs were attached. You can verify this by measuring the distance between the mounting clamps that are welded to the trailer frame. You should have 17-1/2 inches from the bottom of the top frame clamp to the top of the bottom frame clamp. This has a 21 inch lift and a capacity of 6,000 lbs.
I have attached a drawing that gives you an idea where the attach brackets are located when installing this jack.
