Can I use a Reese Fifth Wheel and Gooseneck for Towing with a Ford F-450 Truck
Question:
I have a reese gooseneck in my truck. can i use rails for my gooseneck for a 5th wheel or are they not interchangeable

If you have a Reese gooseneck hitch installed in your F-450 Truck you will not be able to tow a fifth-wheel trailer without using an adapter (see link). You could take out the gooseneck hitch and install a Universal Fifth Wheel Trailer Hitch Installation Kit with Rails (Full Size Pickups), item # RP30035, and then you would be able to use any of the Reese fifth-wheel hitches (see link) and any of the gooseneck plate adapters for fifth-wheel rails, like the Curt 25K Gooseneck Plate for Fifth Wheel Rails, item # 16055.
