Will the Reese Dual Cam Sway Control Work with Reese Weight Distribution With Cam-Style Spring Bars
Question:
Just purchased a new Travel trailer.26 ft 4800lbs. My previous Trailer was 21 ft at 3500 lbs. I used a reese weight distuubiting hitch. The new trailer has a more noticeable sway. I was looking at the Reese Dual Cam High Preformance Sway control. My concern is it compatable with my current Reese hitch system? My spring bar looks like the one in the dual cam video. the only marking on my spring bar is V5 Rating 800 spring 10000 max. the end pointing to the rv has a v-crook with 2 holes for chain mounting. any thoughts ? or sugestions ?

Expert Reply:
Yes, your current weight distribution system is compatible with the Reese Dual Cam Sway Control, # RP26002, because it has the cam-style spring bars (see photo). The Dual Cam Sway Control will be an excellent addition to your weight distribution system if you have been experiencing sway with the larger trailer. This type of sway control was designed to stop the sway before it begins.
