Expert Reply:
Yes, the Carlisle HydraStar Electric-Hydraulic Actuator for Disc Brakes, # HBA16, will work on a triple axle trailer boat trailer with disc brakes. I spoke with my contact at Carlisle and verified that it would work.
As you may already know, an in-cab brake controller is required to use an electric-hydraulic actuator. If you have a GM truck years 2007 and newer or a Ford truck years 2007 to 2008 and you will be using the factory brake controller, you will also want the Carlisle Control Adapter Module, # HBA-CAM. These factory brake controllers do not work with electric-hydraulic actuators, so this adapter is required for everything to function properly.
