Will the Hopkins Endurance Flex Trailer Connector Adapter # HM47320 work on a Harley Trike

Question:

I have a Harley trike that has a 6 pin round female plug. My trailer has a flat 4. The 6 pin: 1 black..ground 2 blue...running lights 3 not used 4 brown...right turn 5 violet....left turn 6 orange...auxiliary power Will HM47320 work by just plugging in? or do the wires need to be changed around?

What matters more than wire color on the 6 way on your Harley trike is circuit location. Judging by the list you gave me it looks like the 1 circuit (ground) is in the 3:00 position of the plug and the circuits after that go around the connector counter-clockwise and end with the center pin. Check out the picture I attached to see if your connector is wired up like the standard 6-way wiring.

If so, then yes the Hopkins Endurance Flex Trailer Connector Adapter # HM47320 that you referenced would work well for you without having to switch wires around.
