Comparing The SuperSprings SSA16 And SSA13 For A 2012 GMC Sierra 2500 Denali 4x4

Question:

I have a 2012 gmc sierra 2500denali crew cab 4x4. I pull a 34 foot camper with the tongue weight of about 850 pounds. I want to add a set of the super springs but not sure what weight. The ssa16 or the ssa13. Which would be better forme. Need your expert opinion thanks

Hey Scott,

I try to stick around the payload capacity of the vehicle when choosing this type of suspension enhancement. Anything more is pretty much just overkill and can sometimes negatively affect your ride quality. The SuperSprings Custom Suspension Stabilizer and Sway Control Kit # SSA16MXKT has a 1,650lb load leveling capacity, which is almost twice what you're hauling so it'd be the better option unless you plan on hauling heavier in the future. SuperSprings only activate as weight is added so they're one of the better options to keep your ride quality the same as when you're unloaded

You'll need to special order u-bolts (5-1/4") if the leaf spring stack height is greater than 2-3/4" at the axle.
