Will a 2,500 Pound Capacity Electrical Trailer Jack be Strong Enough for a Jayco X23F Travel Trailer
Question:
Not sure how I would know the tongue weight so Im thinking the experts here will. Will this be powerful enough for my TT, a Jayco Ultralight X23f? Thank you.

Typically, a trailer's tongue weight is 10 to 15 percent or even more of the gross trailer weight. For example if the trailer weighs 5,000 pounds then the tongue weight could be 500 pounds to 750 pounds.
I could look up the information on the trailer if I knew the year but there is likely a plate on the tongue that has the gross trailer weight. It is probably also in the literature that came with the trailer.
The electric trailer jack # JET-2500 has a capacity of 2,500 pounds. The tongue weight of your Jayco trailer is probably much, much lower and this jack would work fine.
The higher the capacity jack the easier it is for the jack to work, and the longer it will last.
