Options for Raising the Tongue Height on a Boat Trailer on a Slanted Driveway to Drain Water
Question:
I park my boat in my driveway, which has a slant. Is there a way to raise the tongue more than the full extension of my trailer jack? Even all the way extended its still not enough to drain the water out of the plug in the back. If I use bricks to make the tongue higher then its too high to hook back up to my truck without using a car tire jack, which is a pain to have to use every time.

Your best option would be to either replace your trailer jack or add a second jack that comes with a drop leg. We had a trailer here at our facility that was in a similar situation and this method worked pretty well. We kept the original sidewind swivel jack with the wheel caster on the trailer and added the Pro Series Square Jack, # PS1400800383. This jack is welded to the trailer tongue and it can be welded at any part of the outer tube. The jack has a standard lift height of 15 inches, but the drop leg adds additional height which should allow you to raise your tongue higher.
