Are the Seals for a Norcold RV Refrigerator Replaceable

Question:

Hello, I recently bought a used 2014 5th wheel with a four door Norcold refrigerator. The refrigerator gaskets on the lower doors need to be replaced. Can I purchase that from you? Serial 16909131 Thanks for your help.

Hey Barbara, I did some digging around and it actually looks like the seals are not replaceable. The doors are made with the seals already installed, so if you were needing to replace the door seals you'd need to replace the entire door.

Hi Bryce, thanks for your quick reply. I’m a little speechless at the idea that anyone would make a door that has to be replaced because of a gasket ?? We will be looking for a work-around solution. Any ideas? As always I appreciate your quick and responsive customer service.

@BarbaraR Hey Barbara, yeah it doesn't make much sense but you could try and use some seal like # SR26ZR which is a stick on and measures 30' long and is 1/2" tall. What you can do to see if that would work is take a piece of the seal of the door and get some measurements and let me know what you're looking for, and I'll see if we have anything.
