Replacement 2018 Heartland Mallard 185 Leaf Spring That Keeps Breaking on Right Side
Question:
I have a 2018 Heartland Mallard 185. I keep breaking leaf Springs on right side. I replaced both Amazon with leaf spring mistake about year ago. What is a quality leaf Spring I can replace with that won’t break again. Thanks

Hey Scott, thanks for reaching out!
From what I could research it looks like the axle on your 2018 Heartland Mallard 185 is rated for about 4,000 lbs so the 26" Long # e22YR or 25-1/4" Long # e57SR will be great replacements if the length matches up (center eye to center eye unloaded) with what your trailer is equipped with.
With that being said, if the leaf spring on only the right side keeps breaking then you've got something going on more than just getting bad leaf springs. You'll want to make sure you have your trailer loaded evenly left-to-right and that you aren't prone to hitting curbs with the trailer on that side. You may even consider taking your trailer to a local shop, dealer, or experienced friend so they can physically poke around and make sure everything looks okay on the right side.
