MaxxAir MaxxFan Roof Vent Will Not Open But Fan Still Operates
Question:
Max air roof vent won’t open. Fan works and remote works. How do I fix this?

Expert Reply:
You issue is most likely either with the Lift Motor # MA10-20270 or the Operator # MA10-20281K-1AF. You can try removing the motor to see if it still operates when disconnected. The operator is going to be mounted under the lid so it can be harder to access as you will need to get on the roof. If you can verify the model of roof vent you have I can check to see if these are the correct parts or if you need something different.
