Can Lippert Manual Folding Steps Be Used In Place Of Kwikee Electric Steps?
Question:
We have a 2023 Winnebago View motorhome and Im just curious if youve dealt with this type of coach when it comes to replacing the Kwikee electric steps with the Lippert LC432682 foldable steps. The measurements Ive taken look compatible, but I do have some trim that may interfere with installation and have some concerns when folding the steps up that they might lift too high to be able to stow. Thank you.

I personally have never seen anyone replace an electric Kwikee step with one like the Lippert # LC432682. You would most likely have to cut out the trim and you could also have some ground clearance issues as the manual steps are typically going to hang lower than Kwikee steps.
