Hi Keith,
Good question, and the right shock kit for the 4,400 lb axles on your Grand Design trailer is the Roadmaster Comfort Ride Shock Absorbers for Tandem Axle Trailers # RM-2460.
Even though it says it's for 5,200 lb to 7,000 lb axles, that actually means it fits 3 inch diameter axles, which is the size of the 4,400 lb axles on your trailer. More specifically, the tie plates in the shock kit are the right size, as they're a bit larger than the ones for a 3,500 lb axle.
So that's why you'll need the # RM-2460, and you made a really nice choice here as this shock kit is going to do a superb job in giving your trailer a much more stable, smooth ride.
